The Intermountain Professional Photographers Association (IPPA) held a full day event on July 17th, 2006 up at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon in Utah.
We started off the day driving up the mountain, taking scenic and wildflower shots, led by Don Busath.
Later, we returned to Alta Lodge where we had breakfast and then enjoyed an informal model shoot with Bevan Whittier as our instructor and Sarah Airmet as our beautifully patient model.
Mark Bowers then presented us each with an Image Stabilizer (a rod and clothes pin with duct tape!) and instructed us in the art of macro photography.
Gary Weitzel finished up the instruction by leading us through another model shoot in which Adilfa\'s beautiful daughter, Chantelle Ford, stepped up to the plate and did a wonderful job of modelling for us when the originally scheduled model failed to show up.
We finished with a buffet dinner and a wonderful slideshow presentation put on by noted travel photographer, Don Lyon.
